When people talk about the great service, they are not kidding! It’s really the the small things that count. After you order, the bring you a cup of water wherever you sit. When the windows facing the water were getting a little too sunny, they came over and offered to put the shades down. They even walked around giving out freshly made chocolate cake. It was still steaming — FOR FREE!! Talk about delicious! Holy smokes. What a place. In love!
Cute (check out the artwork on their tabletops - each has a different theme) and cozy local spot that makes AMAZING Mexican Hot Chocolate! I love coming by to grab a cup to go and then go for a nice, long walk.Would also recommend their avocado toast (it's topped with cucumbers and chili flakes) and Greek yogurt (delicious when you add a dollop of honey).
Beautiful, warm, welcoming, serene, environment. When you walk in you are completely enveloped in the smell of gourmet coffee and desserts. The staff was friendly and they even walked around handing out regular size "samples" of their fresh baked chocolate cake! Highly recommend. we met friends from Canada there... it was the perfect location to visit for hours!
The coffee was good. But the customer service was outstanding! If I could give more stars to them for customer service I would! I brought a first date here you know not expecting it to go long and we were so comfortable there we talked for hours! The staff was super friendly the whole time, didn't make us feel like we were taking up real estate. They even brought us water and made sure we were happy. They really went above and beyond what I expect from a coffee shop. I'm going to go out of my way to come here more. Also in general it's a beautiful location. Great view of the sound, comfortable cafe. I would 100%...
Great coffee, nice ambience, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is quite lively as it's in the Pike Place Market area and tends to draw a crowd of both locals and tourists, but it's a great place to stop after shopping around the area. This wouldn't be an ideal place for quiet study or isolation, but it would be a place to gather with a group of friends. First- timers can get a free Storyville coffee mug to take home!
Amazing coffee! They set up a whole experience from when you walk in to when you leave. My favorite is the mocha. Its not too sweet. Free mug the first time you go in and they often have free samples of their baked goods! :)
A hidden gem at Pike Place Market. The place gets very romantic at dawn when you can see the sunset over the windows. The coffee tastes fantastic here, but the ambiance adds the flavor to it too. If you're visiting Seattle, you should get a latte here and sit in the window seat.Highly recommend!
A hidden gem in Pike Place Market. It’s upstairs in a building and very worth it to stop by. If you are a first time guest they will give you a free mug (valued at $15) and the customer service is unbelievably amazing. So friendly from the moment you walk in. The drinks were great but weren’t very hot so I’d ask for extra hot next time. Had the dark hot chocolate and chai latte. Amazing. Latte art is on point, very cute.
This cafe is a hidden gem in the pike place! They serve lovely beverages. The cafe has a lot of seating. Many that overlook the waterfront. On a sunny day, it is a great place to relax while sipping your favorite kind of coffee! While the seating is plenty, they’re busy during the weekend, so it is possible that you may not get a table to sit at. Despite that, this cafe is worth the visit - for its vibe, friendly staff, artful lattes and lovely vibes!
Possible one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Perfectly steamed milk, espresso that actually had taste come through and I added a hint of vanilla for sweetness. Thoroughly satisfied. That being said. It is very pricey. Went in with a part of three and with three drinks and a cookie we almost hit $30. It’s expected for the area and didn’t sour the experience.Free mug for first time visitors is pretty cool!
Best Mocha I've ever had! So rich in coffee taste and very lightly sweetened. The chocolate flavor was strong but not to the point that it overwhelmed the coffee. They blended in just perfectly. I also tried their New Orleans latte with almond milk and man what a good combo they made! I like how when they hand the drinks out to the customers, they don't include the lids, which kinda makes the drinks look a bit like an alcohol drink, which also could save some lids for the environment!
I like to go super early on the weekend before the parking attendants show up. That way, I keep my keys and get a good parking spot. Otherwise, you're subject to valet. My usual order is the avocado toast and matcha iced latte. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. There are plenty of seats and even more outlets! Good to knock out a couple of hours of productivity and then head out before the area and parking lot gets too crazy.
